Must Have Americana Looks
Memorial Day is this weekend, followed by the Fourth of July a month later. I love a traditional "Americana" look for these holidays. You know, Red, White and Blue, especially if it's in a gingham or stripe pattern. Reminds me of summer picnics and outdoor fun! I even like mixing in the neutral Black in these patterns, which makes me think of rustic summer days and nights. Gingham and stripes are always traditional styles. We're just so lucky that they are "In" again in the fashion world, making these patterns so easy to find and in so many different styles to suit any look. Beyond the holidays, these prints are still just classics for spring and summer; and the word 'classic' always lends itself to the notion that this purchase won't expire or find itself out of style any time soon. So bring on the summer holidays and let the celebrations begin!
